Mobile Marketing Strategies


Mobile Marketing is marketing and advertising to people, primarily mobile users. Stats show that mobile users represent a large growing segment of online activity. There are at least 5 billion users, and mobile traffic is half of all web activity. Mobiles are also essential in life, including the shopping side of it. But they also use it for researching and looking things up. there's a lot of people who search online before looking up stores. If you can master mobile marketing, you can get people onto your store, physically. For example, I've done plenty of check up on games or dvds online before going to Cex or Gam to get them.


Below are two types of Marketing for mobile:

Social Media:

Many a smartphone user has access to at least one media outlet, like Facebook, Twitter, ETC.

WhatsApp and Facebook being the titans, used by 62% and 47% of people respectively. Most, if not, all Main Social Media

 Platforms have billions of users which makes sense to use social media as a primary marketing strategy.

In-app Marketing: 

Marketers cannot ignore the app market. WhatsApp, Messenger, Facebook and Instagram are popular, but there's many, many more out there, which makes in-app ads important to marketing strategies... Even if you and I utterly hate them.

They enable the ability to display banner ads that usually appear on top or bottom of screens, usually in menus like games, or apps. Native Ads can appear to look like they're actually in the app itself.
